Rockefeller Park Greenhouse

Last weekend I took a Sunday bike ride to the free-all-year

Rockefeller Park Greenhouse to dust off my camera.

Calm, warm, and beautiful.

Exactly what I needed.

 

The desert room has a big picnic table that I will be visiting often

this winter to try to head off some seasonal depression. 

I spent a solid hour in here admiring these prickly babes!

 

Walking around the outside of the building has me really dying to

go back out to the abandoned greenhouse for the fall foliage.

I'm lucky to have such a great hideaway so close to home

 and hopefully I can find more gems hidden in my neighborhood.

Fall Fixie

 Introducing: My new pride and joy, 

State Bicycle's 'Bomber' Fixed Gear.

 I was riding it down the halls 2 hours after the box came through
the door and first thing in the morning, it was time for
baby's first glamour shots!

This bike rides like a dream and was well worth the price as both a

daily rider and pretty much the hottest bike I've laid eyes on.

I swear I'll make it to the next Critical Mass.
